Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Feast Recipes Guide aims to make its recipes and pages usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or browser zoom. Accessibility is treated as part of good design, not as an extra: pages should be readable, navigable, and understandable without relying on colour alone, fine print, or a mouse.

Accessibility Features on This Site

The site uses a responsive theme that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktop screens, so text reflows rather than requiring sideways scrolling at ordinary zoom levels. Pages use a logical heading structure, so screen reader users can move through a page by its headings, and navigation links use descriptive labels. Images that carry meaning, including recipe photographs, are given descriptive alternative text. Recipe pages present ingredients and instructions as structured lists, with numbered steps, so instructions are easy to follow one step at a time, including on a phone. The site avoids intrusive pop-ups and unnecessary animations that can interfere with reading.

Known Limitations

This site is a small, recently built site, and accessibility work is ongoing. Some third-party elements added in the future may not yet meet the same standard, and not every combination of browser, device, and assistive technology has been tested. If you find a page, image, form, or recipe card that is difficult to use, your report will help it to be fixed.

Feedback and Contact

Accessibility feedback is welcome. If you encounter a barrier on this site, please describe the page, the problem, and the device or assistive technology you were using, and send it through the form on the Contact Us page, or to [Your Name] at [Contact Email]. Reports are read by the site owner, and accessibility issues raised in this way are treated as a priority for the next update to the affected page.
